The Peplum Craze

Or "top med skød" as they called it in a Danish magazine recently. Still makes me laugh.
Anyway the peplum shirts and skirts fascinate me a lot. I still consider getting myself either a skirt or a shirt as it's one of the biggest trends this season.


I love how Tuula styles the peplum skirt with the Alexander Wang top and the white heels. It's very chic and a very feminine styling. And she does look smashing.

Also Elin Kling has a nice look with a peplum shirt. I don't dig it as much as Tuulas, but it's still a pretty cool look.

Now I really should be getting back to studying for my exams.

Summer vibe

I love summer, and this outfit from mywardrobe is exactly what I wish I could wear today because of the urban vibe - but in this heat it is too hot to wear anything but a bikini. And THAT is even too much for me. 

That oh so chic jacket

My wallet is empty - with a very big E. And even so, I manage to find some amazing products that I've been dying to find - ever since I saw the boucle jacket from Isabel Marant, I have looked for a similar jacket and thanks to Le Fashions recent post I have found some ideal ones! This is the original coat that I wanted:

These three following jackets have caught my eye at Zara:

 Boucle knit cardigan with piping and strass - Zara

Multicoloured studded blazer - Zara

Fantasy fabric blazer - Zara

The ones from Zara have a more summerly feeling than the one from Isabel Marant (and they are a lot cheaper) but I'd still like to have them all. I'm mostly considering the cardigan and the last blazer but maybe they'll all end up in my closet - which I am redesigning at the moment.

and now I will go out and get some sun - never too late to get a tan.

French goodies

I bought the Converse shoes from the previous post and also a striped top from American Apparel. Looking forward to get it!

Besides that my man got me a pair of Repettos as a present from Paris!... unfortunately in half a size too small.

So I sent it too a friend in Le Marais in Paris so he could get me the bigger size. But I surely appreciate the thought!

This week is nice and relaxing with only a few school days. Soon I will be out of school and on my way around the globe - which will be awesome! Beginning with Paris...

Summer shoes

I just found these awesome Converse All Stars on Asos.com. I have looked for them for a while but could not find them anywhere. So now I will surely get them as soon as possible!
